Membership in the
League of Women Voters is open to any person 18 years of age or older, who subscribes
to the purpose and policy of the League of Women Voters.
League Membership -
«enables you to make a difference -- in elections, decisions and events that shape the future of our city, state and nation.
«provides an avenue for meeting other league members, community leaders, and a network of helpful and friendly contacts.
«enables you to be informed about issues which concern you. The
League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization which works with the consensus
of its members. Prior to taking a position on issues, the League solicits your
viewpoint as a member.
«gives you an opportunity to sharpen your skills in leadership, public relations, lobbying-whatever challenge you choose.
«is flexible. The League of Women Voters recognizes that the personal responsibilities of our members and their available time varies. You will be an important part of our activities no matter what level of involvement your schedule and responsibilities allow.
